More than hearing
Because the ears do far more than help us hear.
Many people live with challenges they never realise could be connected to how their ears and brain work together.
If listening is difficult, the brain has to work much harder. This can affect communication, learning, concentration, movement, confidence, emotional regulation and even energy levels.
As The Sound Teacher, I am an independent sound and listening practitioner who works with people when traditional pathways haven’t fully addressed their hearing, listening, communication or tinnitus challenges.
Whether you have a diagnosis or simply know that something isn’t quite right, I offer personalised programmes designed around your individual needs.
Who can benefit?

Balance concerns
Reduced listening confidence
Older adults

Every programme begins with listening.
The ears are far more than our hearing organs.
They help us:
Listen and communicate
Learn
Concentrate
Balance and move
Process information
Regulate emotions
Connect with the people around us
When listening becomes easier, many other parts of life often become easier too.
Is this right for you?
If you or someone you care about has tried other approaches but still feels something is missing, I’d be delighted to discuss whether a personalised listening programme could help.
