Primitive Reflexes - overview

Primitive reflexes are involuntary reflex actions that originate in the central nervous system (CNS). It is quite common for older children and adults retain these reflexes, which can impact on learning and life.

Challenges might include:

  • Migraines

  • Tinnitus

  • Balance, vertigo

  • Sleep problems

  • Concentration, attention and focus

  • Difficulty listening in background noise

  • SEN (special educational needs)

  • Unable to achieve potential despite working hard
